Well, 2021 passed by in a blink of an eye and 2022 may end up being an exciting year for movies. I am waiting to see the Tragedy of Macbeth before posting my Top 10 of 2021, but that will be coming soon! Also, you may see some repeats from my Most Anticipated of 2021 post as release dates were shuffled once again due to the pandemic. Hopefully, in 2021 things will start going back to normal, but it will be a slow process. Cinemas are still mostly closed around the world, so a lot of these movies will be seen at home. The Witch is a horror film about a Puritan family whose life is torn apart once they suspect that their eldest daughter, Thomasin (Ana Taylor-Joy), of practicing witchcraft which has caused them to be cursed.
The Lighthouse stars Robert Pattinson as Winslow who gets a job as a lighthouse keeper. He meets his boss Thomas (Willem Dafoe), who is overbearing and possessive. However, once the two lighthouse keepers get stuck in a storm, Winslow struggles not to loose his mind.
