The Godfather and The Godfather Pt. 2 are iconic films that has influenced dozens of films since it was released, some say that it is the greatest film of all time. This is my first time seeing both films and while I already knew some of the story bits and seen some clips, there’s nothing like watching the whole film. And I don’t really know what I can say that hasn’t already been said.

Ocean’s 8 surrounds Debbie Ocean, played by Sandra Bullock, getting out of prison and planning what may be the biggest jewelry heist ever at the Met Gala – a diamond necklace valued at 150 million dollars. For this heist she needs 7 other women and they just happen to be played by total superstars like Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Rihanna, and more.
Ocean’s 8 is a fun movie. The cast works great together and you can just relax, sit, and escape the real world for a little bit. Sandra Bullock plays the role of master manipulator very well, simply oozing confidence with every step. Anne Hathaway and Rihanna, I think are the other two standouts, though everyone is good in their role. Some women get more screen time than others, but they all serve their purpose in the film. And since the film takes place at the Met Gala, except tons of cameos by popular celebrities.
